2017-18 District Rotaract Representative

Rotaract District 3150 gets their 2nd LADY D.R.R   Rtr.SNEHA NARAPARAJU Sneha joined the movement in the year 2012 as member of Rotaract Club of St.Ann's College.  During 2013-14, she served as the club President and moved on to be the Regional Secretary 2014-15. Moved out from college, she carried on to be member joining the Rotaract Club of Bhagyanagar in 2015. On January 24, 2016, Sneha was unanimously elected & announced as District Rotaract Representative for the Rotary Year 2017-18. Sneha works with Deloitte as Tax Consultant from June 2016, prior to that she was with Amazon IN.

Rotaract Tailoring Centre for Women

As a part of the celebration of World Rotaract Week, Rotaract District 3150 inaugurated the Rotaract tailoring center for Women on the World Rotaract day i.e. Saturday, 13 March 2010 at 5 pm, Guntur. Chief Guest PDG.Rtn.Sri Rama Murthy inaugurated the tailoring center with Six Sewing machines in the presence of DRR Rtr.Thansen and Rotaractors of RAC Santosh as viewed in the picture. This permanent project undertaken by Rotaract District 3150 aimed and is run by Rotaract club of Santhosh. This project g ives an opportunity to the women of low financial status to build a career in tailoring profession through the training programmes organized under a professional guidance. Each training program is planned for 45 days - 2 months with a course certificate handed over at the end of program. Rtr.Ramakrishna, PDRR. Rtn.Lokesh, Rtr.Rafi, DRR - 3160 have donated sewing machines and Mrs. Swarnalatha, Director - CARDS has allocated a room for this ongoing project.

Rotaractors Set An Example As Volunteers

The effective assistance of 18 Rotaractors of various Rotaract Clubs in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad were applauded for their volunteer services at the Seminar on "Career Options with Professional Qualifications- Company Secretay [CS], Cost & Works Accountant [CWA] and Chartered Accountant [CA] organized by the Rotary Club of Secunderabad West at the sprawling APSRTC Kala Bhavan AC Auditorium, the venue of the event in Hyderabad in India. This Annual Career Event organised by the Club, fourth in the series, was to mark the New Generation Month observed by Rotary all over the world. According to the Event Chair Rtn.Suryanarayana SV [who is also the Rotaract District Trainer], the Rotaractors demonstrated their zeal even during the pre-seminar efforts. Installation of DRR and District Council 2009-10

The Rotaract District 3150 has completed the Installation Ceremony of Rtr.Thansen taking over as the District Rotaract Representative (DRR) along with District Council for the year 2009-10 on 10th July 2009, at Urvasi Residency, Patny, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India at 6:30pm in the presence of District Governor Rtn.C Suresh as Chief Guest and Installation officer and PDG Rtn. Sambasiva Rao as induction officer. DRR Rtr.Thansen gave his acceptance speech in view of the district upcoming. District Rotaract Trainer Rtn.Suryanarayana S V briefed about training programmes planned for 2009-10. The occasion was graced by Past District Governors, Past DRR's, Rotarians and Rotaractors from almost every club in the district. The event progressed grandly with the uuveiling of the Rotaract T-shirt by PDG Rtn. Rotaractors donate blood

The Rotaract New Year 2009-10 started with an energetic note through the Rotaractors participation in the blood donation camp held on 1st July 2009 at Mahabub college, Secunderrabad, India. From 8.30am. members of Rotaract Clubs of Twincities have made their mark by donating 76 units of blood for the cause of saving life through sharing blood. This event was coordinated by Rotary Club of Secunderabad Cantonement of Rotary District 3150 while it was supported by Rotaract Club of Secunderabad Sunrise and Rotaract Club of Bhagyanagar.
